LGBTQ+ young people experience higher rates of mental illness and distress than their peers but are likely to be underrepresented in accessing mental health services. Researchers at The Kite Trust have spent the last year exploring the factors that help and hinder LGBTQ+ young people in accessing the mental health support they need, when they need it, and to make recommendations on how this might be improved. This event is a chance to come and hear key findings from the research and their calls to action, and share your views on how to work together to build on the findings of this project to make positive changes for LGBTQ+ young people.
