Mental Health Month Poetry Workshop

Jovan Mays is the emeritus Poet Laureate of Aurora, Colorado, a National Poetry Slam Champion, TED Speaker, the Youth Voice Coordinator of Aurora Public Schools, and Director of Your Writing Counts, a youth poetry program throughout the Denver Metro that engages just over 200,000 students annually.

For this 30-minute workshop, Jovan will lead you in poetry exercises that can help you in sharing your mental health story though poetic expression.
