The ASK campaign was launched by Kieran Miles in early 2020 to achieve three things:
- Normalize the conversation about mental health through activating community leaders to share their stories and support mechanisms
- Signpost the support which already exists
- Positively impact the prevention of serious mental health challenges, to reduce the impact on the NHS and as a result improve services when they are most needed
