Coping with Covid-19

A report published by the Washington State Department of Health stated that people are likely to see a decline in their behavioral health throughout the rest of the year because of COVID-19. According to the report, the pandemic and stay-at-home orders have caused a “surge in behavioral health symptoms” across the state, which includes elevated rates of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and insomnia.

Join Dr. Kira Mauseth as she discusses how the pandemic affects behavioral health in our communities and how we can build resiliency to support ourselves, colleagues, family and friends. Following the 30-minute presentation there will be 30 minutes for Q&A.

This event is being hosted by Women In Environment (WIE), 501(c) non-profit furthering professional development and opportunities for women in the environmental field.
