Grief, Rage, & Political Action

Coloring Mental Health Collective (CMHC) is committed to justice and healing-oriented work over the long haul. Our fall gatherings are taking place with focus on three cities in the United States. All events will occur virtually.

The Portland, OR and Salem, OR event will take place on October 23rd-24th and is sponsored by Claremont School of Theology at Willamette University and Willamette University. The theme is “Grief, Rage, & Political Action: Caring for Black and Brown People from Womanist and Mujerista Perspectives during the COVID-19 Pandemic.” The Public Gathering will be the second day of this two-day event. Saturday, October 24th, will be a public event with the larger community to connect, give expression to our feelings, and advocate and organize for political action and cultural change.
