Stigmas and Misconceptions of Suicide

Learn about the stigmas and misconceptions of suicide, who is susceptible, and how to prevent suicide. Suicide is not inevitable for anyone. By starting the conversation, providing support, and directing help to those who need it, we can save lives—our own included.

This webinar, presented by YMCA of Greater Seattle's Social Impact Center, will address stigmas, misconceptions of suicide, the public perception of depression/suicide/mental illness, the complexity of suicide, who is susceptible to depression and suicide and how to go about preventing suicide. There will be time for interaction and questions.
