Empowering Black Girls (EBG)

Empowering Black Girls is a digital storytelling and community participation project which aims to empower Canadian girls of African and Caribbean descent. The project provides opportunities for black girls, between the age of 16 and 24, to celebrate their heritage and rich culture, voice their opinions on the issues that impact them and their communities, and work together to find positive ways of addressing them. The participants will develop leadership skills and life skills through workshops, discussions, mentorship, community projects, and fun group activities.
