Building Resiliency in Mental Health

The pandemic has heightened concerns with mental health, and many people believe that this is the next crisis for our nation, mental health. Are you prepared?

Many have speculated that the "next wave" of the pandemic, is mental health. With fluctuating infected numbers, a slow start and uneasy start to the new school year, and continued concerns with finances, employment, housing and community access and more, it is expected that our mental health will impacted by these changes.

Join psychotherapist and social worker, Nicole Perryman for this workshop, which will explore the impact of stress and burnout, as well as the concerning challenges of anxiety and depression on our everyday functioning.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Discuss the impact of the pandemic on our mental health
  • Discuss the impact of race trauma
  • Identify behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that can influence your mental health
  • Learn about the concerning signs of unwellness within yourself and other
  • Identify resources to seek support in the community
  • Create a self-care plan

The workshop is perfect for young people, adults, parents, caregivers and guardians.
